Sometimes I get caught up in the idea that I need to be skinnier, or fitter. If only my thighs didn’t touch, or I had muscular arms…then I would be content. If only I had a flat stomach, then I could really be happy.
In those times, I have to remind myself. I have run 18 miles. I can hold my own in a 60 min yoga class. I have biked 80 miles in one weekend. I wont let how my body looks affect my happiness because I know that it’s those thick thighs that let me do things like this…
And this…
Can’t forget this…
And sometimes I just need to sit and remember that…
